چکیده

Amenorrhoea is the constant feature of Anorexia Nervosa (AN), caused by sharp metabolism reduction gonadotropines as compared with prepubertal level, but its exact mechanism unknown. Biochemical mediators, involved in this process, include cortisol, leptin, growth hormone (GH), insulin-like factor (IGF-1) and cytokines. Experimental investigation that produced fat cells, plays a role metabolic signal, which regulates hypothalamic – pituitary ovarian function. Functional activity reproductive axis depends on adequacy energy stocks. Leptin one most important maintenance homeostasis. Objective: To investigate immuno-endocrine disorders adolescent girls AN to optimize treatment tactics category patients.MethodsThe was carried out 3 groups girls: I - 59 diagnosed patients BMI =15,34+1,04; II 53 amenorrhea BMI=15.7+0,6, without AN; III control 20 healthy BMI=20.3+1,4.Measure serum concentration Insulin, Leptin, Neuropeptide Y (NPY), Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), GH, IGF-1, Gonadotropins, Estradiol (E2), Cortisol, Thyroxin (T3), Triiodothyronine (T4) Thyrotropin (TSH) ELISA out. Results discussionThe highest TNF-α, Cortisol levels, together minimum values NPY, IGF1, gonadotropins, E2, T3, T4, TSH were revealed anorectic (I group) comparison (II (III) groups.Absolute hypoleptinaemia low NPY levels testifies formation résistance leptin level. The GH IGF-1 groups, denoted GH-resistance.ConclusionThe presented results permit characterize neuro-endocrine-metabolic function regulation at AN: absolute hypoleptinemia, resistance GH- resistance, hypoinsulinism consequence starvation contrinsular effects hypogonadotropic hypogonadism thyroid status disorder form secondary hypothyreosis, dysfunction hypothalamic- axis. Neuro-endocrine-metabolic are associated impaired production cytokines damaging factors for functional state hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian homeostasis. Objective: patients. BMI=20.3+1,4. Measure out. groups. Absolute GH-resistance.

Abnormal bone mineral accrual in adolescent girls with anorexia nervosa.

Anorexia nervosa (AN) is increasingly common in adolescent girls and occurs at a time of peak bone mass formation. Osteopenia is common in adolescent girls with AN, and in a cross-sectional study, we have reported low bone formation markers in such girls. To determine the impact of chronic undernutrition on bone mineral accrual in contrast to healthy controls, we prospectively measured bone min...

Elevated peptide YY levels in adolescent girls with anorexia nervosa.

BACKGROUND Peptide YY (PYY) is an intestinally derived anorexigen that acts via the Y2 receptor, and Y2 receptor deletion in rodents increases bone formation. Anorexia nervosa (AN) is associated with a deliberate reduction in food intake and low bone density, but endocrine modulators of food intake in AN are not known. In addition, known regulators of bone turnover, such as GH, cortisol, and es...

Abnormal white matter properties in adolescent girls with anorexia nervosa

Anorexia nervosa (AN) is a serious eating disorder that typically emerges during adolescence and occurs most frequently in females. To date, very few studies have investigated the possible impact of AN on white matter tissue properties during adolescence, when white matter is still developing. The present study evaluated white matter tissue properties in adolescent girls with AN using diffusion...

Bone Marrow Changes in Adolescent Girls With Anorexia Nervosa

Early osteoporosis is common among adolescent girls with anorexia nervosa (AN) and may result from premature conversion of red (RM) to yellow bone marrow. We performed right knee magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) on a 1.0 T extremity scanner in 20 patients and 20 healthy controls, aged 16.2 +/- 1.6 years (mean +/- SD). Coronal T(1)-weighted (T(1)W) images and T(1) maps were generated from T(1) r...

Serum osteoprotegerin in adolescent girls with anorexia nervosa.

Low bone mineral density (BMD) in adolescents with anorexia nervosa (AN) is associated with a low bone turnover state. Osteoprotegerin (OPG), a cytokine that acts as a decoy receptor for receptor activator of nuclear factor-kappaB ligand, decreases bone resorption by inhibiting differentiation of osteoclast precursors and activation of mature osteoclasts, and by stimulating osteoclast apoptosis...
